The model is named Unveiled because the depth and inherent beauty of the music are unveiled to the listener. The technology is based on the cutting-edge innovation and heritage of HIFIMAN’s flagship headphones, Susvara Unveiled. Since the nanometer thickness diaphragm is sensitive to reflected sound waves, it is necessary to further increase the openness of the back of the headphone. This was the inspiration for the HE1000 Unveiled’s removable back panel.

The Power of Stealth

The HE1000 Unveiled headphones feature HIFIMAN’s proprietary stealth magnets. These magnets have an innovative shape that minimizes turbulence and sound wave reflection, allowing sound to pass through the magnetic gaps without degradation. This advanced design ensures superior sound clarity by eliminating the distortion typically caused by traditional magnetic designs. As a result, the HE1000 offers an unparalleled listening experience, free from the unwanted effects caused by obstructive magnetic structures.

Window Shade Design

Traditional headphones use a mesh with a lower opening ratio for the grill leading to reflections and refraction detrimental to sound quality. The incredibly light nanometer thickness diaphragm is easily disturbed by sound waves reflected / refracted by the mesh. Therefore, HiFiMAN uses a window shade design to increase the opening rate, maximize the grill exposure and reduce the probability of reflection and refraction. The result: dramatically improved sound quality.

However, this window shade design cannot completely avoid reflection and refraction. Only by eliminating the window shade + grill design will near lossless sound quality be achieved.

Nanometer Thickness Diaphragm

Low distortion, high transient response, comprehensive improvement of dynamics and details.

At the heart of the HE1000 Unveiled is a revolutionary nanometer-thick diaphragm. This ultra-lightweight membrane enables exceptional transient response, delivering remarkable detail and dynamics. The thinness of the diaphragm allows for rapid movement, which translates into a more accurate and immersive audio experience. Coupled with the stealth magnet design, the nanometer diaphragm ensures the headphones deliver lifelike sound reproduction with minimal distortion.

Magnetic Veils

Specially designed Magnetic Veils have been introduced to protect the fully open drivers of the HE1000 Unveiled.

Due to the magnetic properties of the driver, it’s important to cover the ear cups with these Veils to avoid damage caused by absorption of magnetic objects when not in use.

Ergonomic Designed Ear Pads

The earpads of the HE1000 UNVEILED are crafted for both sound quality and comfort. The outer part of the earpads uses leather, which absorbs and stabilizes sound, preventing unwanted leakage. The side that touches the face is made from highly breathable materials, ensuring accurate sound transmission while enhancing comfort for long listening sessions.

High-Quality Cables

The cable configuration used for the HE1000 Unveiled is a single crystalline copper wire alongside a single crystalline silver wire. The highly reliable socket reduces contact resistance to extremely low levels without affecting the transmission of audio signals.

Edition XS: A Major Upgrade of the Popular Edition X

The new Edition XS expands on its predecessor’s achievements with several essential upgrades. Featuring Stealth Magnet Technology and the company’s NEO supernano Diaphragm, the Edition XS produces a wide, natural soundstage that puts the listener in the best seat in the house. The NEO supernano diaphragm is 75% thinner than the original version, resulting in lightning-fast response for detailed sonic output without discernible distortion.

Acoustically Invisible Stealth Magnet
Unlike the sound waves created by a conventional magnet, the special shape of Stealth Magnets enables the waves to pass through the magnets without generating interference.

HIFIMAN’s advanced magnet design is acoustically transparent, dramatically reducing wave diffraction turbulence that degrades the integrity of the sound waves. The reduced distortion yields pure sonic output that is accurate and full-range.

The Headband

The Cable
HiFIMAN’s new 3.5mm sockets are similar to those found on most common audio devices. The supplied 3.5mm cable is user changeable and replaceable.
