BAT AUDIO Chord MK II
The new generation of cables, as always, adopts single-crystal copper sourced from Wanlung Neotech’s UPOCC, further optimizing the conductor structure.
The Litz Type 4 structure not only allows the conductor to resist oxidation and prevent greening but also significantly increases the conductor surface area, overcoming the skin effect during signal transmission. This enhances high-frequency response and, with the 26AWG wire gauge, ensures sufficient conductor volume, resulting in a more refined low-frequency soundstage.
Sound Direction
UPOCC single-crystal copper effectively eliminates harsh high-frequency noise, controls sharp sounds, and provides a more comfortable listening experience.
It also strengthens low-frequency dynamics, enhances the atmosphere of the soundstage, and delivers a sense of strong contrast with the dark background of single-crystal metal. The fine details are faithfully conveyed, without the looseness in low frequencies typically seen with general OFC (oxygen-free copper), resulting in a rounded and pleasant sound.
Note: 26AWG wire gauge is relatively thicker. For earphones, the conductor volume is sufficient, but players should pay attention to wearing comfort when choosing upgraded cables.
Store owners recommend starting with in-ear earphones (over-ear or non-over-ear). Preferably, choose 4-core cables to ensure comfort during extended wear. However, for over-ear headphones, an 8-core cable can be selected, as it provides greater conductor volume and an enhanced audio experience.
