Publicly Releases on May 10th – 2024
The ZMF Aegis tube amplifier is born of the now famous @L0rdGwyn DIY Aegis where full info can be read about here: https://www.head-fi.org/threads/aegis-diy-tube-headphone-amplifier.965530/
The key differences are that the ZMF Aegis can handle 5U4G tubes, has an XLR out, 4.4mm out and have three impedance selections.
The Aegis amplifier was preceded by numerous amps build by @L0rdGwyn for my personal collection, like AirMid, AirMountain and AirUniverse. I can safely say that Aegis stands tall among them, every bit as good and with a plethora of tube rolling options if desired. The Aegis will drive any headphone and/or IEM between the numerous outputs.
NOTE: Current aesthetic utilizes Teak faceplate, custom painted Black and Bronze transformer covers, powder coated chassis and other custom ZMF design aesthetics.
This product is not eligible for a free demo unit with purchase.
